What we don’t do
- No accounts. Nothing to sign up for and no password to remember.
- No emails. We never ask anyone for one, so we can't send any.
- No ads. Nothing is promoted to you, and there are no ad trackers. We never sell what you type in, and we share it only with the services that run the site, named on the privacy page. Some shopping links earn us a commission.
- Gone in 90 days. Each group deletes itself that long after it was last used, or 30 days after the event date, if that's later.
How it works
Three ways to gift, step by step
Tap a mode to see exactly what happens — or see full examples.
A classic draw — everyone secretly gets one person.
- 1
Add your people
Type everyone's names. Set a budget and block pairs (like couples) if you want.
- 2
We draw — fairly
Everyone's matched at random, respecting every rule. No one draws themselves.
- 3
Share private links
Each person gets their own link. No apps, no accounts, no email.
- 4
Unseal & shop
They open their link, see who they got, and browse that person's wishlist.
Questions?
Is it really free, and do I need an account?+
Yes, it's free. No account, no password, and we never ask anyone for an email — you just share a link. Nothing to install, either; it runs in any phone or desktop browser.
What's the difference between Secret Santa and Group wishlists?+
Secret Santa secretly assigns each person one gift recipient — a classic draw. Group wishlists have no draw: everyone posts their own list and the whole group can see them.
Can I keep certain people from being matched?+
Yes. In Secret Santa mode you can block pairs (like partners), and the draw is guaranteed to respect every rule — or it tells you clearly if the rules make a valid draw impossible.
Someone dropped out — what now?+
The organizer removes them from the share page. Whoever drew them gets the person they were buying for, and everyone else keeps their match. If your blocked pairs rule that out, everyone is redrawn instead. Wishlists are kept either way.
What happens to our information?+
No ads, no email collection, no tracking profiles. Each exchange is reachable only through its private link and auto-deletes after 90 days of inactivity, or 30 days after the event date, if that's later.
Can the organizer see who drew whom?+
Not from the share page, which lists names and links. But the organizer holds everyone's private link, and opening one shows that person's match. If your organizer is taking part and that matters, ask someone outside the exchange to set it up.
Can I add gifts from any store?+
Yes. Paste a link from any online store, or just type the idea if it isn't online. Each person can add up to 30 ideas, and each one can carry a note for size, color or model.
How do we avoid buying the same gift twice?+
Anyone viewing a list can mark an item as bought. Everyone else sees it's taken, but not who took it, and the mark is hidden from the list's owner, so the surprise holds.
How many people can take part?+
Between 2 and 100 people per draw. For a larger event, split it into smaller groups, such as one per team or per branch of the family.
Can I make a wishlist without running a Secret Santa?+
Yes. Make a list just for yourself and share its link for a birthday, a wedding or any other occasion. People who open it can see your ideas and mark what they've bought, but they can't change your list.
