The rules for using GiftMyCrew

The short version

GiftMyCrew is free, and you don’t need an account to use it.
Your private links are your keys. Share each one only with the person it’s meant for.
Be decent: don’t use it to harass anyone, break the law or disrupt the site.
We don’t sell, ship or take payment for anything. Buying a gift is between you and the store.
We work to keep it running well, but it comes as it is, and groups delete themselves after 90 days without use, or 30 days after the event date, if that's later.

Using GiftMyCrew

GiftMyCrew is run by Kinsleo Media LLC (“we”). By using GiftMyCrew you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use it.

GiftMyCrew is for people aged 13 and older. If you’re younger than 13, please don’t use it on your own: a parent or guardian can set things up and add your list for you.

Your links are your keys

There are no accounts. Each group, each person’s spot and each list is reached through its own private link, and anyone who has a link can open what it unlocks. Keeping your links to the right people is up to you.

Because we never ask who you are, we can’t look up a lost link for you. In a group, the organizer can give someone a new link.

What you add

You’re responsible for what you type in: the names, gift ideas, notes and links. Please:

Add other people only to a group they’d expect to be part of. First names or nicknames are fine.
Don’t add anything unlawful, threatening or meant to harass or embarrass someone.
Don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share.

What you add stays yours. We keep it only to show it to the people you share your links with, as the privacy page describes. We may remove a group or list that breaks these terms or the law.

Fair use of the site

Please don’t:

Try to open links, spots or lists that aren’t yours, or guess someone’s PIN.
Flood the site with automated requests, or copy its contents in bulk.
Try to break, overload or get around the site’s protections.

To keep the site safe we limit how often some actions can be repeated, and we may block use that looks like abuse.

Gifts, stores and links

GiftMyCrew doesn’t sell anything, take payments or deliver gifts. A link on a wishlist takes you to a store’s own website, and anything you buy there is between you and that store, under its terms.

Where a linked item shows a name or a picture, it was read from the store’s page or the link itself when the link was added. It may be wrong or out of date, and we don’t show or promise prices or availability. Check the store’s page before you buy. Some shopping links earn us a commission, which never changes the price you pay.

A draw decides who buys for whom. Whether everyone takes part, and what they give, is between you and your group.

Nothing here is kept for good

Each group is deleted automatically 90 days after it was last used, or 30 days after the event date, if that's later. Once it’s deleted we can’t bring it back. Don’t rely on GiftMyCrew to store anything you need to keep.

What we don’t promise

GiftMyCrew is free, and we offer it as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we can’t promise it will always be available, free of mistakes, or right for what you have in mind. We may change it or stop offering it.

As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for losses that come from using GiftMyCrew, such as a link shared with the wrong person, a group that was deleted, a gift bought twice or a store’s mistake. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you that can’t be signed away.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States. Any dispute about them or about GiftMyCrew will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes and questions

If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Carrying on using GiftMyCrew after a change means you accept the new terms. Questions? Email hello@giftmycrew.com.
